Tax Expert – Uruguay

Bachelor´s Degree in Public Accounting at the Universidad de la República (Montevideo Uruguay), Diploma Degree in Taxation from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay and Executive Development Programme from IEEM – Business School.

Alejandra has more than 20 years of experience providing tax advice to national and international companies. She developed her career at Deloitte Uruguay, where she acted as Manager and Senior Manager at the Tax & Legal Department for 14 years.

Among her areas of expertise are: international tax, transfer pricing, tax due diligences, tax audits, compliance and tax consulting. She is recognized for dealing with complex transactions within multinational groups and for her knowledge of several industries. Alejandra successfully developed and led the transfer pricing sector of Deloitte Uruguay for more than 10 years, acting as the primary contact before clients and the tax authority. Moreover, in such period she actively participated in regional and international projects.

Since September 2020 she works as independent consultant in her areas of expertise, providing services to companies as well as to accounting and consulting firms.

Since 2012 is a professor of International Taxation II at the Diploma Degree in Taxation from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay and is a member of the Uruguayan Tax Institute (IUET)
